SHAUN OF THE DEAD. It must be noted that I went into it having just recently seen (and fallen in love with) Zombieland. I have picked zombies as my favorite monster because So, naturally this movie is perfect for me. I went into it being more scared by the overdramatic music and jerky actions of Shaun and less of the zombies (see note c). The music was so intense that I even got a headache. But I also could've gotten a headache from laughing as much as I did. I love Bill Nighy so I was very happily surprised to see him in there, even if he wasn't around for long. I also recognized Dawn and Tim from the Ricky Gervais series, The Office. I love that about British comedies: fun people always make appearances. I know that this isn't going very into detail, but that's because I'm not much for nit-picky reviews or analysing every shot. And, well, also because as soon as the movie was over, my toilet decided to break, so any thoughts I may have had were - if I may say it - flushed away. But I liked it. And you would like it. And you should see it. NOW. 10/13/09 I give this movie bonus points for making the zombies moan and amble slowly around. +10.
a) I'm tired of all the vampire crap lately
b) I'm a big fan of the "Thriller" music video, even if it did make me run screaming from the room whenever it was on during my early years, and
c) Zombies are funny.
